The following is my attempt to provide guidance with the upcoming astrological
influences that are going to be affecting us from April 2014 into May 2014.
I am not an astrologer and leave things to those that have that gift....
I have done a bit to look into what we face ahead and with the assistance of
several astrologers and websites (Kathy Rose www.roseastrology.com, Benjamin
Bernstein www.astroshaman.com are two that I find very easy to understand and
apply) I have put together the guidance below.....under two headings, 1) What is
happening astrologically and 2) What this means to us....
What is happening astrologically:
There have been a number of astrological phenomena that have been occurring, however, the
Cardinal Grand Cross is the "biggie" that most every astrologer is saying is the biggest
astrological phenomena of the year and beyond! This Cardinal Grand Cross is Mars, Jupiter,
Uranus and Pluto forming an amazingly precise geometrical square in the sky.
The forces of this cross begins 4/7, peaking 4/22 and ending 5/9. (There's T-squares and

In addition, we have 2 eclipses: a lunar eclipse 4/15 and a new moon eclipse, 4/29.
In addition, on 4/14-17, we have Arean Mercury catching up with Pluto.
What this means to us:
Depending upon your own personal astrology, you may be affected individually in some various
ways. However, generally.....
This Cardinal Grand Cross will be a powerhouse of energy and will exaggerate situations. It is a
high energy activation period for growth. Kathy Rose describes this volatile energy as a spiritual
weather pattern pounding our auras. It will bring high polarization to things (for example in
politics...) and may produce situations where there is not a lot of cooperation.
But don't despair or run under the covers! It is an opportunity for incredible change and growth!
It is very important to be "mindful" of our state of mind - and to surrender the things that do not
serve us. It is a great opportunity for "house cleaning" and not just spring cleaning your physical
home, but cleaning out the things that no longer serve you in your life - people, things,
commitments, beliefs, etc.
Any discomforts and upheaval is an opportunity to clear out the old that no longer works for our
highest good and to connect with that deeper part of our spiritual selves.
It is also important to remember that everyone has a soul. Everyone is a spark of God/Godess.
There is goodness in everyone no matter how much they tick us off or oppose what we believe is
right. We need to see the universal connection everything has to each other and to the Divine.
You may let yourself be conscious of all the polarization in the world on so many things. There is
also a "duality" that has us actually being something other than what we perceive ourselves to be.
As we look at the many ways the world is polarizing - let us be able to look inside ourselves and see
where we have duality, where we have polarity...... and surrender it to love...
This is a fabulous time to begin things, change your life, energize what hasn't been energized
before. It is a very important time to nurture your being, your body, your spirit. Go inward and
find that spiritual place that might be getting pushed aside more often than not. Commune and
socialize with people who resonate with you on a higher soul level.
Create!! Design!! Birth new things!!
If you are experiencing difficulties - this is the signal that you have more "housecleaning" to do
within yourself.... For those who are not aligned with their soul will struggle more.... For when
there is not alignment, there will be a bit of dynamite... But remember that just like a thunder
storm offers turbulence, the beautiful clear skies and sunshine afterward offer bright days and hope
ahead. Try to open your heart if you are feeling any rumblings during this time to your self love
and asking that part of yourself to be able to see the bigger picture.
This energy picks up 4/7 - so strap on your seat belts and hold on for the ride.... It peaks 4/22 and
ends 5/9. However, there are very intense days: 4/20 through 4/23.....
The eclipses that flank both sides of this Cardinal Grand Cross - The Lunar Eclipse on April 15th is
also at the full moon - with its emphasis on relationships and cooperation. The New Moon Eclipse
on April 29th offers an opportunity to have energies to stabilize..
In addition, Arean Mercury catching up to Pluto 4/11 provides an opportunity to open the door to a
mental breakthroughs - to challenge original thinking... and have transformation of beliefs that no
longer serve. It is a time to look at our "aspects" that may not be in alignment with our Higher
Selves. These aspects may be a part of our ego self, our shadow self, or the younger part of our
soul. The ancient part of our soul is the part that knows patience, unconditional love, and is not
concerned about attachments.
It is a time to release fear, be mindful, be loving and anchored in our service and Divine Beings
that are here to serve for the will of the Divine.
Practice Mindfulness, Prayer, Meditation, and dare to dream and create something new....
